Showcases the Artistic Talents of 快活视频 Students

快活视频 Department of Art鈥檚 2018 Juried Student Exhibition opens Thursday, April 5 and remains on view through May 3. A catered artist reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 5-7pm. This year鈥檚 guest juror, Maggy Rozycki Hiltner, will announce cash awards for selected artworks at 6pm. Announcements of 快活视频鈥檚 Department of Art鈥檚 annual scholarship winners will follow.

The reception and ceremony are catered, free, and open to the public.

Submissions were received in response to an exhibition call extended earlier this year to all students currently enrolled at 快活视频 and City College. The 34 artworks selected for exhibition testify to rich talents and diverse visions of 快活视频 students working across a range of media. The exhibiting artists are: Kari Adams, Danielle Alden, John Allenbaugh, Samantha Arave, Emma Berry, Lindsey Carrell, Gabrielle Coombs, Taylor Evans, Isiah Girard, Hannah Harsha, Ben Havens, Zachary Hinkle, Shayleen Klein, Brenna Lacy, Rebecca Lee, Liz May, Jered Musso, Casey O鈥橫alley, Terri Porta, Angel Shandy, Breanna Shermer, Marsha Stewart, Rilie Stovall, Morgan Syring, Morgan Trowbridge. The exhibition is held in conjunction with 快活视频's Research, Creativity & Community Involvement Conference, which will be held on Friday, April 20. 

This year鈥檚 juror, Red Lodge artist Maggy Rozycki Hiltner, has been an Artist-In-Residence at Yellowstone Art Museum and received a Montana Arts Council Artist's Innovation Award in 2015. Her work has been included in numerous national and international exhibitions in museums and galleries, and has been published in the US and abroad.

The Nothcutt Steele Gallery is located on the 1^st floor of the Liberal Arts Building on 快活视频 campus and is open Monday鈥揊riday from 8am to 4pm, and by appointment.
