Artist Statement
Bouma, in typography, refers to the shape of a cluster of letters, often a whole word. In Variations of Bouma: Other, the artist uses the word 鈥榦ther鈥� to create nine abstractions built by revealing and concealing visual elements within the word - investigating the idea of otherness through visual language.
